Any adult interested in making themselves safer is welcome to join this personal self defense workshop. No previous knowledge necessary.
Our 90 minute workshop will cover the basics of SPEAR (Spontaneous Protection Enabling Accelerated Response) in theory and application. The attendee will learn basics of SPEAR biomechanics (fingers splayed, Outside 90°, SPEAR stance), and delve into the psychological and emotional components of an attack. The class will build in intensity only as appropriate for the participant. Please wear comfortable workout clothes, preferably pants. This is a strictly self defense oriented class.
For those interested in continuing the SPEAR training, every session will be split into two groups. If returning, you will be exposed to other aspects and drills of the system.
