Abby began her crossfit journey through the persuasion of a dear friend to join in 2018, and she never turned back. She grew up in West Texas, running track in junior and high school. She realized her need for keeping physically fit in college, (after the freshman 15 hit!). Running became her go-to, and she kept it up for years, running the Paris and Dallas Marathons in 2010. She became somewhat of a gym rat over the years, maintaining, but never really noticing much change in gaining strength or injury prevention over the years. Enter, CrossFit. Now she reaps tangible results and has enjoyed several PRs in the meantime. She enjoys the camaraderie, the encouragement, the accountability, and the positive environment CrossFit offers that pushes you to be the best you can be each day.
