Wanting to make his body stronger, faster, and overall more fit, John expanded his martial arts training with CrossFit methodology due to his introduction to the system by his teacher, Sensei Chapman (box owner of JSACF), and witnessing the effects it had on his buddy Jeff’s body and performance in Aikido. After 6 months of training, he felt in better shape than ever, seeing the returns when training Aikido, and in everyday life.
Coach John is both a Level 1 CrossFit Trainer and a CrossFit Kids trainer, humbling positions that push him to grow and to help his students realize their full potential. Learning from his martial arts background, which overlaps with CF beliefs, Coach John believes safe, constant execution of technique is the process that leads to intensity.
